This Privacy Policy describes how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Momma Gourmet Inc., and any other affiliates (collectively, “Momma Gourmet Inc.,” “we,” “us” or “our”) when you access or use our website or blog, (“Site” or “Sites’) or otherwise interact with us.

Momma Gourmet Inc. reserves the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time and in our sole discretion. We may update our privacy policy from time to time. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable e-mail address and/or phone number for you and for periodically visiting this privacy policy to check for any changes.

You must be at least 18 years old to have our permission to use this site. Our policy is that we do not knowingly collect, use or disclose Personally Identifiable Information about visitors that are under 18 years of age.

We use the term “Personal Information” or “Personally Identifiable Information” in this Privacy Policy to mean any information that can be used to personally identify you, including anonymous information that can be used to personally identify you when used in connection with other information.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. We collect information when you register for a Momma Gourmet Inc. account, sign up for a subscription, participate in any interactive features of the Sites, subscribe to a newsletter or email list, participate in a survey, contest, promotion or event, order or purchase (either for yourself or for another person) meal ingredients or other products made available through the Sites (collectively, the “Products”), apply for a job, communicate with us via third party social media sites, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us.

The types of information we may collect from you include:

(a) Account Information, such as your name, email address, password, postal address, phone number, subscription, delivery and dietary preferences and any other information you choose to provide;

(b) Transaction Information, such as information about the Products you purchase, shipping and delivery information and information related to returns, refunds and cancellations. We may also collect and store limited payment information from you, such as payment card type and expiration date and the last four digits of your payment card number; however, we do not collect or store full payment card numbers and all transactions are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

(c) Information About Others, such as the names and email addresses of gift recipients when you purchase gifts through the Sites, purchase the subscription on behalf of another person, or invite friends or family to try the Sites or Products.

(d) Other Information You Choose to Provide, such as when you participate in a survey, contest, promotion or interactive area of the Sites or when you request technical or customer support.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you access or use the Sites, the types of information we may automatically collect about you include:

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

1. Log Information: When you visit the Sites, our servers automatically record certain log file information, such as your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, operating system, browser type and language, referring URLs, access times, pages viewed, links clicked and other information about your activities on the Sites.
2.  Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We and our service providers may use various tracking technologies, including cookies and web beacons, to collect information about you when you interact with our Sites, including information about your browsing and purchasing behavior. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve the Sites and your experience, see which areas and features of the Sites are popular, and count visits. 3. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels”: We and our service providers may use such technologies. Web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Information We Collect from Other Sources

We may also obtain information about you from other sources and combine that with information we collect directly. To illustrate, we may collect information about you when you post content to our pages or feeds on third party social media sites, or if you login from a third party site to create or log into your Momma Gourmet Inc. account.

We may use information about you for various purposes, including to:

(a) Provide, maintain and improve the Sites and Products;

(c) Respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service;

Momma Gourmet Inc. is based in the United States, and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using the Sites or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.

Sharing of Information

Personally identifiable information on individual users will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties without the approval of the user at the time of collection.

However, we may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

(a) With vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work or perform services on our behalf;

(b) We may make our postal address list available to certain third parties we believe may offer products or services of interest to you;

We also may share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. You should also be aware that when Personally Identifiable Information is voluntarily disclosed (i.e. your name, email address, etc.) in the discussion forums or other public areas on this site, that information, along with any information disclosed in your communication, can be collected and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from third parties. Such activities are beyond our control and this Policy does not apply to such information. Any submissions to social media pages or other public areas on this site are accepted with the understanding that they are accessible to all third parties. If you do not want your comments to be viewed by third parties, you are advised not to make any submissions. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and/or account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you're online.

Security

Momma Gourmet Inc. takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology and block chain protection. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to or from us over the Internet. In particular, email sent to or from the Sites may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.

Your Privacy Options

Account Information

You may update, correct or modify information about you at any time by logging into your online account or by emailing us at kelly@mommagourmet.com. If you wish to deactivate your account, you may do so by accessing the portal or by Emailing us at kelly@mommagourmet.com.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Upon request, Momma Gourmet will take reasonable efforts to delete a user's personal information from its database. It may be impossible to delete a user’s entry without some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Customized Campaigns

Further, notwithstanding any “opt out” of promotional information by the user, [[name of business]/[name of owner of web site]] reserves the right to contact a subscriber regarding account status, changes to the subscriber agreement and other matters relevant to the underlying service and/or the information collected.

Your California Privacy Rights

California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident, you may request this information once per calendar year by emailing us at kelly@mommagourmet.com.

International and European Residents

Momma Gourmet only ships to the United States. However, you may sign-up for Momma Gourmet for updates or for purchase if you are traveling in the United States. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
